High Risk Section Manager
Salary: £39,436
Location: Wombwell S73

Hours

The position will follow a weekly rotating shift pattern of 5:30am - 2pm and 1:30pm - 10pm Monday to Friday, the successful candidate will be expected to work weekends on a rota basis and will include 1 late finish of 2 hours (1 in every 2 weeks)

The Role
As a High-Risk Section Manager, you will manage the efficient and economic operation of your Section and ensure the production process and quality of products meets the company's standards in line with customer requirements and. In the role you will also be actively coaching your teams' members to succeed to the best of their ability.

Responsibilities

As a High-Risk Section Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
* Managing the high-risk manufacturing operations
* Liaise with department managers
* Deliver training to maximise your team's potential
* Achieve the operational managements KPI's
* Rectify any weak spots in the production environment
* Deliver excellent levels of customer service

Qualifications

As the High-Risk Section Manager the following qualifications would be beneficial:
* HACCP Certificate
* Health & Safety at Work
* Food Safety Level 3
* Hygiene & Chemical Training
* CIH training certificate
* Management apprenticeship (NVQ level 3)
* Hazards and near miss reporting training
* Accident investigation training
* Knowledge and understanding of Lean/Six Sigma tools and Techniques for continuous improvement
