Higher Executive Officer (HEO) - Central Government
Type: Long-term temporary
Salary: £12.65 / hour - £16.61 / hour after 12 weeks

Brook Street has been chosen as a recruitment partner to central government and the public sector to hire temporary admin and clerical workers for departments across the UK.
- If you're a skilled administrator looking for a step-up, we are currently recruiting on behalf of a local government department for a Higher Executive Officer (HEO) in West London. This is an ongoing, long-term temporary assignment, working full time hours and many of these opportunities offer a significant pay increase on completion of 12 weeks in the same department.
- Providing middle management support with minimal supervision, your duties will include:
- Preparing high-level correspondence and checking that produced by others
- Interpreting and reporting complex data
- Resolving problems or responding to complex enquiries
- Managing the workload of a team or section
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders at senior level building and maintaining relationships

Typical qualifications and experience required:
- Five GCSE passes at Grade C or above
- Two 'A' level passes at grade E or above or equivalent
- NVQ Management Level 3 or 4 (or suitable management experience)
- Good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office
- Management experience in an office environment
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
