Job Description

We have a very exciting opportunity to make a real impact, helping with COVID testing on the front line. Our public sector client is looking for 10 contingent workers to support with the National Testing Programme

Service evaluations are a mechanism for gathering evidence on how different testing products and approaches work `in the real world` to enable the National Testing Programme to continually improve the quality of its service. They are delivered by a site operations team that are based within the regional and local testing network.

Team members will be responsible for working with staff at COVID testing sites to:

-Recruit study subjects
-Work with testing site staff to ensure observations and case report forms are completed
-Liaise with data management to provide clean data and ensure queries are resolved
-Support any and all study site-based activities such as
-Site initiation
-Supply logistics & inventory management
-Lab Dispatch
-Completion of site process documentation and training

The ideal candidate will be a conscientious and diligent individual who puts compliance to study processes and patient welfare at the forefront of everything they do
You will be articulate and comfortable speaking with patients who may be nervous about the testing process
You must be digitally literate, adept at managing data and identifying errors

Driving Licence/car access and flexibility is crucial to this role as location will vary regularly based on deployment needs
Typical working patterns are Mon-Fri on site. Typical site operating hours are 8am-8pm although tend to be less busy on Fridays so may finish around 2pm

Locations will vary on a week to week basis. Possible locations to include Midlands, Manchester, Blackburn & Preston. You will be based on 1 site per week minimum. Mondays tend to be the busiest day so you will likely need to travel there the evening before.

Safety and PPE: All team members are expected to read and confirm they have read safety guidelines and receive a briefing before starting on site. PPE is provided by each testing site and follows guidelines laid out by the testing programme and Public Health England.

Expenses: Accommodation, evening meal, travel expenses are covered. note, we are asking team members to drive and not take public transport where possible so a valid UK driving licence is essential.

We appreciate that this is a very different role that wouldnt have existed 6 months ago therefore exact/similar experience is not essential. If you match all of the required skills listed above and have flexibility to travel and stay away from home we would love to hear from you. We are particularly interested in hearing from graduate level candidates or individuals that have experience within public health
