Higher Executive Officer
MAS 2 Business Support
Temporary until end of June 2021 with possible extension
37 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
£15.11 per hour
Working from Home

The successful candidate will be subject to a Basic Level DBS clearance

Our large Public Sector are looking for a Higher Executive Officer to provide support to the Movement Assistance Scheme (MAS) by providing technical IT support for Management information.

You will utilise Excel, Access and SharePoint Online effectively and provide coaching to others to build up technical knowledge of these IT systems.

Key tasks will include but are not limited to:
" To oversee and be responsible for the production of all budget and forecasting models.
" To ensure that financial work processes are developed consistently.
" To review the monitoring of financial variances ensuring that amendments to forecasts are implemented and thorough investigation carried out.
" To ensure appropriate internal control quality assurance is in place to ensure evidence meets the required standard.
" To act as a role model, providing visible and effective leadership to the finance teams;
" To make decisions on whether, how and when to make large scale changes to work processes in
" order to improve service delivery, ensuring that the teams understand the rationale for change.
" To identify, evidence and develop robust proposals for change, considering bigger picture impacts
" across the Agency in order to enhance quality customer service an enable effective and efficient
" use of resource. This includes the need to share best practice and lessons learnt across the agency.

Essential Criteria:
" Expert skills and knowledge of Excel and Access. Must be proficient in utilising the software to provide improvement and data analysis
" Excellent IT literacy and SharePoint Online experience.
" Experience of improving data sets to achieve a required aim of improvement.
" Experience working with multiple teams
