Job Description

An excellent opportunity has become available to work for the Government body. This Client needs a Higher Executive Officer, the pay rate is £15.90 an hour, it will be a temporary assignment for approximately 2 months, until the end of March; with the possibility to extend; Monday - Friday; remotely.
Inspection, Enforcement and Standards (IE&S) is a key operating division in the Regulatory Centre (MHRA) which focuses on the quality of medicines in the UK and includes a comprehensive surveillance, inspection and enforcement programme, the licensing of pharmaceutical manufacturers and wholesalers, defective medicines reporting, unlicensed imports, borderline products, medicines testing and the British Pharmacopoeia.

Key responsibilities and results areas

Key Responsibilities

" Support inspection activities in an efficient and effective manner
" Support office-based assessments as required and in accordance with the documented quality system, ensuring any issues arising are dealt with in an appropriate and timely manner
" Provide advice to stakeholders in relation to inspection planning activities
" Work with Operation Managers to successfully develop, maintain and deliver the annual inspection programme
" Work with Operations Managers and Senior Inspectors to deliver Inspectorate projects
" Support the teams as required

" Excellent oral & written communication skills allied with a commitment to providing prompt customer service.
" Demonstrates effective organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality, including managing conflicting deadlines and priorities.
" Demonstrable experience of a flexible and adaptable attitude towards work, providing a proactive service and the ability to use initiative, foresight, and have a willingness to go the 'extra mile'.
" Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
" Demonstrable experience in drafting high quality and accurate (technical) written correspondence and a high degree of computer literacy with proven experience using Microsoft Packages.
" Ability to deal confidently and diplomatically with colleagues at all levels, external contacts, and the public.
" Excellent attention to detail
" An appreciation of the regulation of medicines uses in the UK.
