Job Description
My Government client is looking for a candidate to join them as a Regional Learning, Development and Engagement Co-Ordinator to join them working in a busy court in Manchester City Centre with possible travel to other locations in the region required.
The key purpose of the role is to:
-Lead and initiate communication and new ideas to promote learning.
-Co-ordinate the delivery of learning and development opportunities for staff across the region
-Act as the lead point of contact for all Regional Employee Engagement issues escalating to the Regional Delivery board as required.
Key responsibilities
Operations
-Network centrally and with the regions to maximise learning opportunities and share best practice through effective communication and engagement with staff
-In supporting the Capability lead, attend meetings that promote learning and development for staff in the region and support national strategy
-Undertake training needs analysis for the region as appropriate
-Lead and initiate communication and new ideas to promote learning
-Assist, lead and report on progression of the regions Capability Plan as determined by the North West Delivery Board
-To provide support and assistance to the Regional Capability Lead, providing all associated support as needed
-To provide regional returns and reports, including reporting to the Delivery Board and Workforce Change Board (WFCB). Monitoring of regional compliance with mandatory training requirements
-To oversee the organisation of training, workshops or development programmes that are held within the region
-To evaluate training courses as appropriate
-Share best practice / lessons learnt across other L&D coordinators and feed recommendations to Capability Lead
-Support the Regional Employee Engagement Lead in sharing and promoting good employee engagement practice
-Gather staff feedback, ensuring it is understood, evaluated and used to identify and drive improvements
-Play a lead role in encouraging local completion of the annual People Survey
-Facilitate local workshops ensuring that Managers and staff use their local results to identify and drive improvements.
-Develop and maintain a regional action plan for improvement, key activities and timings.
The successful applicant will be required to provide three years worth of references and undertake a DBS check.
