Brook Street has been chosen as a recruitment partner to central government and the public sector to hire temporary admin and clerical workers for departments across the UK.
If you`re a skilled administrator looking for a step-up, we are currently recruiting on behalf of a local government department for a Higher Executive Officer (HEO) in (London). This is an ongoing, long-term temporary assignment, working Monday- Friday and many of these opportunities offer a significant pay increase on completion of 12 weeks in the same department.
Providing middle management support with minimal supervision, your duties will include:
" Management of recruitment bids across teams
" Co-ordinate sifts and interview panels with support of PAs
" Manage on boarding
" Co-ordinate matching and networking events in diaries of vacancy managers
" Manage process of getting consultants / contractors
" Support co-ordination for training needs of teams
" Manage fast streamer extensions
" Update organograms
" Keep staff database updated
" Preparing high-level correspondence and checking that produced by others
" Interpreting and reporting complex data
" Resolving problems or responding to complex enquiries
" Managing the workload of a team or section
" Liaising with internal and external stakeholders at senior level building and maintaining relationships

Pay increase after 12 continuous weeks in the majority of departments
Potential for long-term or multiple temp assignments once you hold security clearance
Minimum of 35 days holiday (pro rata) following 12 consecutive weeks in the same department

Typical qualifications and experience required:
Five GCSE passes at Grade C or above
Two `A` level passes at grade E or above or equivalent
NVQ Management Level 3 or 4 (or suitable management experience)
Good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office
Management experience in an office environment
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
