A full-time temporary role has become available within the Warrington area, in a government department.
hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday, office hours.
Pay: 14.96 per hour.
You will be part of a dispersed team whose role is to both regulate and provide advice to HS2.
The team works with HS2 and their contractors to suggest and influence ways of working to best safeguard the environment on Europe's largest infrastructure project.
The team works closely with lead staff in Areas impacted by HS2, as well as Defra, Natural England, Forestry Commission, DfT and a wide range of key stakeholders.
The role will involve:
" Project administration work, including governance and records management
" Attending both internal and external meetings whilst taking minutes and actions
" Organising meetings and events on behalf of the team and Project Managers
" Interrogating data from databases, EA tools and systems to produce factually accurate reports
" Producing briefing notes and papers to support external and internal meetings
" Producing and maintaining spreadsheets and work trackers
" Working with a wide range of people such as; our area colleagues, NPS, HS2 Ltd and their contractors
" Communicating and working with our Technical Specialists and Project Managers to provide support where required
