Job Description

Our client is a professional consultancy firm who deliver innovative and agile solutions to clients both in the UK and Overseas.

They are now looking for a qualified and experienced financial officer to join the team to administrate and control all financial related matters.The role is home based with the need to work occasionally at the Company`s locations in Greater Manchester. In addition, the role will require you to carry out general administrative tasks to support some of the business processes. Excellent prospects for career development for the right person
You will report to the Managing Director and be the financial lead in the Company.

Key aspects of the role:
Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow).
Support the Company`s external accountant to produce statutory accounts.
Produce budgets and support annual business planning
Ensure smooth running of the Company`s financial and related business systems.
Comply with HMRC requirements - VAT, Corporation Tax
Raise client invoices and process payments.
Raise supplier purchase orders and process supplier invoices.
Day-to-day management of the Company`s finances.
Reconcile company credit card transactions.
Process monthly expense claims and payments.
Process payroll and pension payments.

Additional administrative tasks would typically include:
Recording annual leave requests.
Managing the Company`s mobile phone contracts.
Arranging business insurance.
Organizing travel, accommodation and event bookings on an ad-hoc basis.

About You:
You should be qualified to a minimum of AAT Level 4 Qualified (or equivalent) or have Part Qualified Accountant status.
Have at least 2 years' professional experience preferably working in a small to medium sized company, preferably which provides professional services.
Be experienced in using Sage accounting software.
Be proficient in IT matters, including Microsoft Office, particularly, Microsoft Excel.

Be highly self-motivated and organized with a proven track record of working unsupervised in all financial aspects with a strong work ethic
