Home Office: Immigration Enforcement - Administrative Support
Immigration Enforcement has overall responsibility for the removal of Foreign National Offenders (FNOs) and works with the Ministry of Justice, the National Offender Management Service, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Police to expedite the removal of FNOs.
FNO Removals Command`s (FNO RC) objective is to protect the public by deporting or removing FNOs who commit criminal offences, where legislation permits, and to actively monitor and manage FNOs released into the community pending deportation. We do this by rigorously pursuing deportation against foreign offenders who have committed criminal offences, managing each case through the legal process, negotiating barriers and ensuring that the use of immigration detention is appropriate.
Vacancies have arisen within FNO RC`s Intake & Triage team, the key front-end department responsible for the beginning the FNO RC deportation process. The work of the team is fast-pace and high volume.
Main responsibilities include, but not limited to:
" General administrative support duties
" Processing incoming post and electronic mail.
" File creation.
" Document scanning
" Data input
" Information collation.

" Previous experience of working within FNO RC - formerly known as Criminal Casework - would be desirable.
" Also a good working knowledge of CID, Atlas and Excel - although training will be given.
Essential: Security level required - CTC level
Period of posting: Posts available for 3-6 months. Possibility of extension depending on progress of recruitment of permanent staff.
Pay: £11.63 per hour
