Home Ownership Officer - Hybrid and flexible working location
Locations: Birmingham, Sandwell, Dudley, Coventry, South Derbyshire, or Shropshire. 3 days in Birmingham Office. 1 day working from home.
You must hold a UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
Salary - £29,355 + a car allowance of £1,680
Monday to Friday - Full-time, 37.5 hours
We are in partnership and collaborating with a fantastic client who are a registered care and support charity, who specialise in delivering homes, services, and innovation for the most disadvantaged communities in the Midlands and providing support to vulnerable adults. They provide the very best service, and they would love your help to continue that process.
Overview of the role
The client is looking for a full-time Home Ownership Officer. You will be expected to travel across the Midlands to meet service users and provide support. You will be part of the housing management department, who will work closely with the Income Team Leader and the legal team, to run a slick home ownership service.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for a patch of around 350 service users, and the Home Ownership Officer's duties will include; the recovery of rent or service charges; staircasing and resales; leasehold consultations; resolving disputes and queries; RTB and RTA; mobilising the home ownership elements of new development; and other housing management activity such as ASB and lease breaches; be responsible for all aspects of frontline housing management of the clients shared ownership and leasehold homes, as well as support the development of processes and working practices.
