Job Description
We are now looking for a Hospitality Assistant for a newly opened office in Sheffield. Our client is well established of excellence in the property investment industry.
As a Hospitality Assistant you will need to represent as a leading Hospitality & Customer Services Assistant ensuring that all performance targets are achieved with a focus on excellence & a positive student experience.
Location - Sheffield
Salary - £18,000 - £19,000 per annum (negotiable)
Full Time - 09:00am til 5:30pm
Experience required;
- Experience working as a Receptionist / or within Customer Service
- Hotel or Student experience is desirable but not essential
- Excelelnt Communication and IT knowledge
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining the information systems and ensuring information is accurate
- Assist in the collection of monies and daily banking procedures
- Respond & following up positively & professionally to all student & customer enquires in a timely manner
- Manage maintenance requests and arranging repairs ensuring the best use of resources available
- Assist with pastoral and well being duty of care for students
- Provide a mail collection service to students, ensuring that all parcel deliveries are recorded and signed for by the students
- Providing general reception services, including key management and handling lock outs
- Welcoming visitors and contractors, ensuring relevant security and identity checks are carried out and their presence is recorded
- Ensure the HM & Regional Operations Manager are informed of all serious incidents
- Ensure the office is presented to a good standard at all times, with clear desks, clean windows and all bins/boxes area stored away out of eye sight
- Ensure the building in general including social spaces and grounds are kept to the company standard
- Ensure all signs and notices throughout the building, up to date and relevant
- Provide cover out of hours as required
- Assist the Hospitality Manager and Lettings Coordinators in the sales and lettings of rooms with a view to achieving maximum occupancy year on year by making sales calls, following up leads and converting them to bookings
- Undertake accompanied property viewings and ensure flats/rooms being viewed are presented to a good standard
- Assist with the collection of rents and chase arrears in accordance with company policy & procedures targeting zero rent arrears
- Liaise with head office with regard to a tenancy issue and to assist in the return of tenancy agreements
- Ensure all rooms are thoroughly checked after students have checked out and any relevant recharges to students are documented and details passed to Head Office
- Ensure all required inspections are carried out prior to students checking in and rooms are presented to the Mansion standard
- Carry out routine inspections throughout the academic year logging any issues and any necessary charges are processed
- Maintain relationships with the local Police, Fire Service, Colleges and Universities
To ensure we provide the best possible service to all customers including students, staff and visitors
- Manage all student complaints in a professional and confidential manner providing decisive and effective responses, assisting in and resolving customer disputes
- Ensure all student yearly feedback questionnaires are summarised and report outcome to head office
- Behave in accordance with the requirements of the company's Health and Safety Policy
- Behave in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act and current Data Protection Policy
