Our client provides first class support and accommodation to single, vulnerable homeless people in the Wirral area. They are looking for a motivated and driven hostel support worker for a temp to perm role to start ASAP!

The role is part time at 21 hours per week broken up over a 14 day pattern consisting of late shifts (17:30-21:00) and one day at the weekend.

Duties will include:
-Carrying out mainstay assessments
-Ensuring clients have understanding of rights and responsibilities
-Help clients achieve goals and targets outlined in their support plans
-Carrying out risk assessments
-Engaging and promoting the delivery of cognitive analytically therapy
-Review and develop support plans
-Administrative and office duties

The ideal candidate will have:
-Minimum of 1 years experience in a hostel setting
-an NVQ level 2 in Housing, Health & Social Care, Advice & Guidance or other relevant
-Experience of carrying out risk assessments
-Administrative skills
-Experience of planning and delivering workshops & training sessions
-IT/computer skills
-Mainstay Trained

The pay rate for this role is £9.50/hour and then £10.920/annum for 21 hours/week and the benefits would include double pay on bank holidays, accrued holiday pay.
