We are looking for a dispersed residential support worker who is committed to improving the lives of homeless vulnerable people to work with our client based in Liverpool.
We are looking for a hostel worker to provide high quality support services to vulnerable homeless people living in semi-independent tenancies, some of which may be experiencing substance use, mental health, repeat homelessness or offending behaviour.
You will be employed as a member of our temp team which means you could be working in a few different locations each week. You give us your availability and where you can travel to and we will find you the work! Being a successful temporary worker does require flexibility, commitments and the ability to hit the ground running when we send you to a new assignment. For this reason we can only accept candidates with relevant experience in a similar role.
Working on the temporary team gives you a unique experience to build up a portfolio of different companies you have worked for and if you have experience in other sectors (such as children's support work or HCA) you can pick up different roles to allow you to keep developing in all areas. You can also pick what days you would like to work so temping can be a great way to boost your income. All we ask for in return if for your hard work, commitment and co-operation.
To join our team you will need to have experience in a similar role within the last 5 years. This will be 1 years experience without a qualification or 6 months with a relevant qualification. For hostel roles we would love mainstay trained staff but will accept applications without. We will also need you to complete a DBS Check or if you already have one on the Update Service, provide us with the certificate to check.
The pay rate for our hostel worker roles ranges between per hour and the benefits would include double pay on bank holidays, accrued holiday pay, flexibility, reward and recognition including employee of the month awards and 24 hour support from our friendly consultants 365 days a year.
