Job Description

Do you have previous housing management or maintenance experience and confident in your awareness of health and safety issues? Do you have a knowledge and understanding of COSHH?

If so, this could be the perfect role for you. Working at the client's sites across the Wirral and Ellesmere Port area, your main duty in this role will be to ensure there are excellent standards of accommodation and that they are regularly provided and maintained.

This role will initially start on a fixed term contract with a big potential of it being extended and moved into a permanent role.


Benefits in this role include:

A competitive basic salary ranging from £17,000-£19,950 per annum (dependant on experience).

Working hours of 37.5 per week - this will be based on a 4 on, 4 off basis and working a mixture of 2 day shifts and 2-night shifts.

5.6 weeks holidays per annum - as part of this benefit, you will be required to work Bank Holidays.

Business mileage covered for any travel to and from sites.

Healthcare scheme.


Day to day duties in this role include:

Identify any safeguarding or housing management risks using the correct reporting and any associated documentation for this.

Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered and worked towards.

Monitoring the building's safety and security always - undertaking patrols and CCTV footage to do so.

Ensure all staffing and service users comply with relevant procedures and you are confident in offering advice and training to any unsure of such processes.


To apply for this role, you MUST have the following skills and experience:

Aware of all health and safety issues and have a basic knowledge of COSHH.

Previous maintenance and cleaning skills.

Able to deliver and relay any policies and procedures relevant to the business.


Based on the client's industry, it would also be desirable for the right candidate to have an understanding of issues that affect vulnerable adults and be both knowledgeable and comfortable in working with a vulnerable client group.
