A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Housing Officer in the Croydon area on a 3 month contract with the possibility of it being extended. The right person will be working in partnership with colleagues in operational teams to ensure that housing management within the organisation is carried out to a high standard and meets commissioner, legal and regulatory requirements.

The ideal person will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

Knowledge of relevant legislation including housing benefit, health & safety and data protection.
Detailed knowledge of housing benefit and council tax benefits, case law and procedures/systems.
A Housing related qualification at level 3 or above or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft office including word and excel.
Clean DBS.

The successful candidate would be required to travel across the client's properties and services in Sutton and Croydon. The right candidate must ensure that risk assessments, reporting and returns are completed and consistently up to date and accurate.

The Successful candidate would be rewarded with the following:

£21,951-£22,608 (Pro rota)
28 Days holiday (Pro Rota)
