Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Housing Solicitor for our team.

The successful candidate must have an excellent academic background and a wide range of public funding experience within housing law including all types of possession proceedings, disrepair claims and counterclaims, obtaining Injunctions in harassment and unlawful eviction claims, Homelessness Judicial Review Claims and s.204 Appeals to County Court. Advocacy experience is required as most hearings (excluding Trials) will be conducted by Instructing Solicitors.

We are looking for candidates with a 2 year background in working independently with a high level of competence .

The successful candidate will need experience dealing with vulnerable clients, including legal help and legal aid cases and will need to ensure compliance with Legal Aid Agency contract requirements.
