Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Global IT Client to recruit an HR Assistant
This is a contract role based in Twycross for initially 9 months.
As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays pro rota, use of the onsite facilities, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant.
Salary: £26,000pa depending on experience
The HR assistant will help with the implementation of services, policies, and programs aimed at maintaining a safe, positive environment, as well as the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce, within a gaming industry.
The HR assistant will report to the Senior HRBP and will be involved in the below:
Recruiting and staffing logistics
Performance management and improvement tracking systems
Employee orientation, development, and training logistics and recordkeeping
Company-wide committee facilitation
Communication between the company and employees
Compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping
Employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health reporting
HR filing system
Supporting Snr HRBP with ROB
Some payroll work when this function is on leave etc so can deputise.
Ensuring policy is up to date etc
Managing Ask HR function answering staff queries on general subjects.

The ideal candidate will have a good intermediate level of Microsoft tools such as Excel/Word/Power Point. Will be highly organized and able to multitask. The role will require a high degree of ethics, dealing with very confidential information.
