HR Assistant - Fulwood, Preston
37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Rate of pay dependent upon experience
The role-holder will support the HR Officer to ensure that all HR admin processes run smoothly and efficiently and are easy to use and navigate.
" Answer HR queries from employees and external providers that are received by phone and email, including replying to all messages received in the HR inbox within agreed timescales.
" Administer absence for the company including updating records, ensuring fit notes and RTW documents are received. Monitor absence and recognise and report any patterns or issues.
" Update and maintain holiday logs on the HRIS and annual leave cards.
" Administer e-learning mandatory training, ensuring new starters complete all required training and existing employees complete any refresher or additional training.
" Work closely with the Recruitment HR Assistant and support the recruitment process during holidays and busy times e.g. chase employer references and help prepare induction packs for new starters.
" Support the HR Officer with the administration of HR matters e.g. re any policy changes, disciplinaries and grievances e.g. uploading relevant docs to files.
" Update and maintain data held on the HR Information System, in electronic Personnel files and also the Monday project boards.
" Support the HR Officer with monthly payroll and update records accordingly.
" Support the structure and HR processes by completing daily, weekly and monthly task lists and updating the Monday boards with relevant information.
