HR Assistant

Job Description

My client based in Chorley are looking to appoint a customer focused and team player to join their HR Team, working 37.5 hours per week, over 5 days, 09am- 5pm.
You will be a crucial member of their ambitious and innovative team and in this you role you will gain experience of how they implement Workforce policies by providing administrative support to the Workforce advisors and Business Partners.
Main Responsibilities:
" First point of contact on the telephone dealing with queries about Workforce policies and employment matters
" Provide day to day advice to all advisors and partners including managing absence, performance, Grievance and Disciplinary cases.
" Administration duties for the Workforce team
Good communication and organisational skills are essential for this role along with experience within a HR function.
Proficient in the use of computer technology packages e.g. Word, Excel, email and internet and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
