Leicestershire Police are currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner based in Enderby.
Brief description of duties
Provision of strategic, operational and tactical HR support & advice to Chief Officers/ Directorate Commanders and Regional Collaboration Heads and their SMT members.
Working in partnership with Senior Managers to develop business plans and to set annual local HR agendas.
Consult and negotiate with Trade Unions and Staff Associations on all issues affecting personnel within the organisation.
Provide expert advice at all levels with regard to employment law, policy and reward and remuneration & workforce planning and recruitment.
Interpretation, implementation and compliance auditing of Police Regulations and Police Staff Pay & Conditions of Service.
Significant experience of providing advice and guidance to managers on a wide range of generalist HR issues in a Police or similar complex environment
Able to demonstrate extensive experience and application of:
-HR policies and procedures
-Reward & Remuneration
-Employment Law (UK & EU)
-Managing HR projects
-Recruitment and Selection
Experience of negotiating & consulting with Senior Managers, Employees, Trade Unions, & Staff Associations
To be a chartered member of CIPD or demonstrate equivalent experience
Educated to degree level or hold an equivalent qualification or demonstrate equivalent experience
