HR Officer


Shrewsbury


Salary - £24000 - £28500pa DOE

A fantastic opportunity for a CIPD qualified HR expert to join a well-established educational establishment within a beautiful part of Shropshire.

A DBS is required for this role

You:


Hold a CIPD qualification level 4 or above
Have a proven track record of working within a fast paced HR department in a generalist role
Excellent communication skills
Have an analytical mindset
Excellent time management skills
Experience in employee relations, recruitment, grievance & disciplinary and employment law
Be able to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of MS Office
Flexible approach to work hours

The Role:

You will be reporting to the Head of HR and will be involved in all aspects of HR to include the following

End to end recruitment process
Staff training & development including maintaining training matrices
Providing advice to stakeholders regarding employment law
You will be involved in absence management
In this role you will be producing reports on key areas to include staff turnover, training and more
You will be involved in managing various projects which will include the implementation of a new HR system
You will be responsible for maintaining various audit functions
