My client is based in Oxford are looking for a HR Administrator to support alongside the Department of Engineering Science and HR Officers. You will build effective working relationships with academics and their staff, performing and overseeing end to end processes in relation to the co-ordination of recruitment, from application stage through to appointment and induction.
The main responsibilities you will undertake are to advise staff on University recruitment policy and ensure that all departmental recruitment is conducted within these guidelines. Manage the administration of recruitment exercises through Core HR which will include; placing advertisements, generating letters to applicants, preparing short listing packs and arranging interviews and references. Advise line managers and staff members by telephone, email and face to face answering straightforward questions or undertaking research and interpreting procedures to answer more complex questions as appropriate. Use own initiative and considered judgement to answer queries and make suggestions in line with University policies and legal framework, escalating to the HR Manager as appropriate.
This position will be offering between £13.58 - £16.20 p/h and you will be paid weekly. The role is a temporary contract however they are looking for someone to join their team until January 2020. This role requires you to be CORE HR trained.
