Job Description

This is a truly exciting and unprecedented opportunity to help develop a public sector organisation in its development, through its Human resources / Workforce department. The successful candidate will be working as part of a small team, reporting into the Workforce Manager with no direct reports. The organisation has over 800 staff throughout Wales, so queries will be as diverse as they are complex.

This is a fixed-term opportunity until March 2022.

The organisation has been on a journey as part of a larger Public Sector body and is now looking to appoint teams of upbeat, energetic and driven individuals who want to contribute to the success of the organisation against its vision, mission & values.

Duties include

• Advising in line with employment law
• Conduct & facilitate performance management meetings
• Support annual appraisal process
• Support recruitment administration
• Generate reports from internal systems around sickness

About You

You must be eager to learn and display creativity in your thinking. This is a digitally led organisation and although in its infancy, has bold aims in line with its mission. To achieve these aims, the successful candidate must share this passion.

Basic qualifications

• CIPD Qualification or equivalent experience
• Advanced IT skills, including reporting experience
• Demonstrate a range of Workforce Advisory experience in a medium sized organisation
• Experience of delivering training to managers at all levels
