Job Description

The Role

As our HR Officer, you will be responsible for:
" Employee relations
" Recruitment - full 360 process from Apprentice through to Manager
" Overseeing our Apprentice, Placement and Graduate schemes
" Leading wellbeing initiatives and facilitating Occupational Health
" Providing guidance and support with training and development
" Maintaining HR systems, analytics and budgets
About You

You will have an HR based qualification but more importantly, you will have a natural interest in employee wellbeing and behaviours and promote a positive and inclusive culture throughout our organisation. We are keen to adapt to meet the changing employment market, retain the excellent employees that we do have and attract good candidates to join us. If successful, you will be pivotal in introducing those changes.

To be a successful HR Officer, you will already have experience in an HR and recruitment focused position. With extensive knowledge of employment law and HR best practice, you will enjoy working in a fast paced (and occasionally chaotic) role. Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering industry would be advantageous.

Organisation and process are key to the success of the team so a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills and a sense of order would be welcomed. You will have the ability to easily connect with people, to build rapport and trust, and bring energy and enthusiasm to our HR team.

Please note, due to the nature of work, there is a requirement for the HR Officer to be office based with the potential for occasional travel to our subsidiary based in Wales.
