We are working with an educational institution based in Wakefield, and they are looking for a HR officer to join them on a Fixed Term Contract until 31st July 2022.
Our client wants an immediate start, and the salary is Pro rata £22,183 to £24,491 DOE.
The daily duties include:
" Recognising your strengths and supporting others
" Comply and assist with development of policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality, and data protection
" To produce, and respond to, correspondence from stakeholders and external parties when required
" Commit to continuous professional development and undertake training and development opportunities
" Maintain confidentiality in all dealings with staff and students, safeguarding personal data where appropriate and preventing disclosure of confidential or sensitive information.
" Ability to work flexibly to maintain and deliver an effective and supportive HR service and provision.
" Willingness to develop skills and perform independent research as required in relation to role.
" Essential- GCSE English and Maths
" Essential Working towards or hold level 5 CIPD qualification
" Experience of supporting large organisations
" Experience of using MS Office packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
" Essential- Experience of maintaining management information systems
" Experience of supporting HR case work
" Essential- GDPR knowledge in relation to HR
" Essential- knowledge of HR policies and codes of practice
" Essential- Understanding of the issues surrounding safeguarding of children and commitment to child welfare and safety
" Excellent time management and organisational skills
" Natural communicator at all levels
" Able to operate in high stress environments
" Natural problem solver and team worker
