Brook Street are very excited to be recruiting for the Public Sector with a temporary, full-time role as an ICT technician.
As part of the Field Engineering team you will provide a high level ICT Operational Support Service to the clients.
To deploy any computer based device to the customers desk, those being laptops, toughbooks, tablets and other mobile devices or telephones.
To investigate enquiries providing assistance and advice as required to the clients at a user level. Provide 1st and 2nd line support to include initial logging of faults from customers, simple diagnostic testing and forwarding and appropriate work queue/technician.
To assist in maintaining LAN and WAN infrastructure of customer organisations to ensure they have maximum availability.


Are you organised and methodical with good interpersonal skills?
Be customer focused, professional manner, reliable, able to work on own initiative and has good attention to detail.

Educated to degree level or equivalent experience (4 years min).
Have an in depth knowledge of the following technical areas:
PC hardware architecture
Device security
Hardware configuration
Software configuration
Asset management
Network configuration
Server implementation
Mobile device deployment and personalisation

MUST be a car driver with vehicle.

The salary starts at £10.86 for the first 12 weeks before increasing to £11.35 thereafter. The role is predicted to run until the end of March 2019.
