This role of an IDVA will be to work via BS Social Care on a temporary basis, for 3 months working full time hours Mon to Fri. Working for an established organisation who support individuals to live their lives free from abuse, domestic violence, CSE or stalking.

We`re seeking a skilled and knowledgeable IDVA to work on a temporary basis, providing the safety of victims at high risk of harm from partners,ex-partners or other family members to help them secure their safety and of their children. Daily duties and responsibilities will include working with safety plans, give information and advice both on a practical and emotional level, manage case loads of clients, liaise with multi-agencies. You will be able to work efficiently and work in a non judgemental way. the service also provides advocacy in relation to police reporting, participating in the family court, housing and health.

Ideally you will be a skilled IDVA, with experience and knowledge of working within a similar setting. You will also be able to work alongside colleagues, be a good communicator and be able to deliver the best service to women, children and men.

We are seeking candidates who ideally have a minimum of one year experience of working in a similar setting and who have supported children and families of domestic violence.
