Immigration Paralegal
Surrey

Our Client is looking for a Paralegal to come on board and support them with a busy immigration caseload. This is a wonderful opportunity for a motivated self starter to be involved in hands on legal work from the outset of a new venture.
You will experience a range of personal and business immigration, with a special focus on Tech Nation visa applications. There will be client contact and the opportunity to grow with the role.

Who are the clients you will be supporting?
Mostly growing companies, many within the tech sector, business-owners, entrepreneurs and private individuals. The work covers Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent), Innovator and Startup visas, Tier 2, Tier 5, family and relationship-based visas, as well as everything Brexit related, ILR and nationality.
Sponsoring License Matters
Carries out some pro bono work for victims of domestic abuse.

Duties and Responsibilities

o dealing with current and potential clients on the phone and by email
o drafting UKVI application forms and other documents
o uploading documents to UKVI systems
o booking application appointments for clients
o handling payments of UKVI fees
o some administrative duties related to the set-up and management of the firm
o dealing with billing and helping with diary management
o client on-boarding process
o file opening, managing AML documents and engagement letters.
