Job Description

Junior Implementation Consultant

Located in Central Bristol the position is within a small well established professional business. The privately owned company has been developing and delivering successful IT projects to UK and global organisations for more than thirty years.

My client has an international customer base that is wide and varied, ranging from many globally recognised brand names to smaller local businesses. However, all our customers share a common requirement; professional manufacturing efficiency software that enables them to optimise plant assets while exceeding the expectation of customers and stakeholders.

From Food & Beverage to Chemical & Pharmaceutical manufacturers, and Utilities and Facilities to Power, Energy and Transport providers -My client's market-leading CMMS and OEE systems are the choice of Engineering, Maintenance, Operational Excellence, and Continuous Improvement professionals the world over.

As an Implementation Consultant you will work to configure their CMMS, OEE and WCM systems applications, develop operating procedures and train customer teams to meet specific business goals and customer needs. You will provide implementation consultation, project management and support services to my client's customers.

Previous industrial or manufacturing is a must.

The ideal candidate will have previously held external customer facing roles and successfully led technical implementations.

Your responsibilities would include but not be limited to the following:

Recognise and address gaps between my clients applications and the business practices of the client.

Assist in the development and documentation of best practice recommendations for common maintenance management business processes across multiple manufacturing environments.

Communicate effectively and build consensus with clients.

Train customer teams on core body of knowledge concepts and principles and on the operation of their OEE, CMMS applications.

Travel to customer locations to deliver consulting services approximately 50% of the time. (across the UK)

Learn new product offering and functionality as software updates are available.

Work independently with a high sense of urgency.

Be accessible and available to multiple customers.

You'll help clients build strategies & capabilities in delivery and execution, both during an active project and continuing after our consultants have shared their recommendations.

Skills & Experience

The following skills are not essential for this junior position but will be developed as part of a structured career progression. Candidates who have already acquired skills and experience in these areas will be at an advantage.

Industrial experience

Experience with Maintenance Management, OEE or other industrial systems

A good working knowledge of MS Office products: comfortable with IT and computers

Project Management

Commercial acumen

Driving licence (essential)

This role will be of interest to an applicant with an interest in working within a software application provider with a strong reputation for delivering successful implementation projects to the manufacturing, facilities and emergency services sectors. The successful applicant will assist in implementing my clients software applications within a wide range of industrial environments under the direction of senior implementation specialists.

Position: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: up to £30,000 depending on experience.
