Job Description

Logistics Administrator

Salary: Up to £24,000 per annum (DOE)


Hours: Monday-Friday / 08:00am-17:00pm


We are currently looking for a Logistics Administrator to play a vital role in supporting the finance department within a premium engineering company based in Yorkshire.


As a Logistics Administrator you will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing the process for import/export shipments including liaising with suppliers & transport companies
  • Coordinating transport bookings & handling transportation documents
  • Dealing with Customs & Excise requirements
  • Ensuring records are accurate and up to date
  • Monitoring procedures and ensuring they're compliant with current legislations

Required Experience

As a Logistics Administrator you should have the following experience:

  • Previous experience in Logistics
  • Understanding of Import/Export/Customs procedures & documentation
  • 2+ years of administrative experience
  • Experiencing using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • High level of numeracy
