JOB ROLE - Import Assistant (Shipping)
HOURS - 9:00-5:30 Monday/Friday
Location - Felixstowe
Salary - £23,000 - £25,000 Depending on Experience

This is an ideal role for an office assistant with a good attitude to join a busy environment in a specialist industry

We are looking for personality and attitude, over experience as our client are a forward thinking business looking to invest in talented people!

Duties/Responsibilities:

" Prepares documents and forms to move goods efficiently through import steps and procedures.
" Reviews paperwork and documents to ensure shipping, handling, storage charges, and customs fees are billed correctly.
" Maintains a database that tracks merchandise.
" Processes claims on merchandise shortages and overages.
" Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

" Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
" Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
" Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
" Looking to learn and be part of a specialist industry
" Knowledge of shipping regulations and policies (desired but not essential - attitude over experience)
