Job Description

We are working with a Keighley based manufacturer they are looking for an Import Coordinator.

Salary is £23-30k

Personal Spec:(Essential= E)
(E) Import knowledge
(E) Knowledge of Air/Sea Freight regulations
(E) Previous experience in an Import role
Previous experience in a shipping and customs role
(E)Commercial awareness
Responsible
Flexible
Excellent Time management skills
IT Literate
Natural communicator
Good GCSE Profile


The duties include:
Management of Air and Sea Freight from factory to destination
Liaising with suppliers, forwarders to obtain paperwork and updated information efficiently
Coordination and tracking of shipments
Document preparation to ensure Freight forwarders can comply with customs and keep in line with HMRC guidelines
Record keeping
Checking/authorising all shipping invoices
Reviewing of Customs declarations
Ensure quarterly report is done
Updating stock records to reflect shipping costs
As well as any other duties deemed reasonable by the line manager
