A local Transport and Logistics company that we work with in Immingham are currently on the look-out for an Import Manager to join their busy and experienced team of people.
The company was founded in 1976 and provides supply chain solutions for thousands of companies every day. They have offices in over 80 locations and so if you are someone who has a passion for working in large organisations, then look no further!
As an Import Manager you will first of all be responsible for a strong team of people. This will include things such as coaching, motivating, training and appraisals. You will also be maintaining strong relationships with our partners, suppliers and clients which means that you will be taking on any feedback and ensuring to deliver on any promises made, which will aid in the success of additional business and a continued working relationship.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has previously worked in a transport and logistics background you will also possess a strong financial awareness due to budget management being part of the list of duties, you must be highly organised with an ability to prioritise workload effectively and someone who can create solutions quickly to any challenges that they may face.
Additional details about the position:
- Working hours are, 8-4/9-5 - 37.5 days a week
- Salary £40-£45k per annum
- 24 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
- Entry into the company pension
