We have a very unique, exciting opportunity working for a well established company, supporting vulnerable young people.

The role of the Independent Sexual Advisor is supporting young people and families. You will be managing a case load, supporting clients in court, and visiting families in their own homes. You will from time to time be in the office chasing the local police for updates on incidents reported and attending meetings. This role is on a temporary basis for 3 months.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience working within a similar sector. It is essential you have the independent sexual advisor qualification in order to be considered for the role. You need to be understanding, empathetic and able to engage with young people. You need to be a driver as your duties will be across Lancashire.

You need to have a minimum of 1 years work experience within the social care sector, or 6 months with a relevant social care qualification. An understanding of sexual violence would be ideal.
