Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an Initial Contact Officer to work in South Croydon.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Initial Contact Officer in the Croydon area for temporary post, up to 1 year. Full time (37 hours a week).
The right person will be working in partnership with colleagues to provide high quality customer service to all young people accessing the service, either face-to-face, over the telephone or via email receives a warm and welcoming response.
Being the welcoming face of the service, operating a reception and general advice service to young people aged between 16-25 years.
The ideal person will have the following experience, skills and attributes:
- NVQ Level 2
Youth work experience
-To welcome visitors to the Turnaround Centre and direct them to the relevant department/individual.
-To provide an initial advisory service to young people accessing the Turnaround Centre.
-To maintain systems and data.
- Clean DBS
- Administration skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft office
- Working within a team
- Verbal and written communication
- Willingness to take on new tasks
- Good attendance record
Temporary, up to 1 year - Full time (37 hours per week)
£18,759 pa - (£9.75 ph)
