Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and dynamic team, working in an established company formed in 1978, who are an independent UK company specialising in the supply of high-quality products. Based in Surrey (UK) they distribute to clients throughout the UK, ROI and overseas.

Overall responsibility
To play a fully active part in working as part of a team with the Regional Account Manager for London to achieve and beat pre-determined sales targets. The objective is to develop and grow profitable and sustainable business within the London region.
Specific duties & responsibilities
" To work in partnership with the Regional Account Manager to generate and qualify sales leads. This includes using industry specific software to obtain information on new builds and refurbishments.
" To qualify inbound sales leads and then manage them in the most efficient way.
" To produce and follow up sales quotes for both new and existing customers and to manage advance payments where necessary.
" To maximise regional sales revenue through cold calling, tele-sales, up-selling and arranging sales appointments for your Regional Account Manager.
" To oversee the complete customer journey to ensure the best possible customer experience.
" To accompany the Regional Account Manager at occasional meetings or events with key clients.
" To monitor and manage buying patterns to ensure customers do not lapse. This could involve weekly / monthly routines for customer contact.
" To be proficient in the use of the Company`s ERP and CRM systems ("Intact") including maintenance of the region`s customer database.
" To acquire and maintain a relevant working knowledge of the hospitality industry and in particular the London region.
" To assist the Regional Account Manager in the preparation of the monthly sales activity report.
" To provide new and existing clients with brochures, product samples, etc. as necessary.
" To manage and / or assist with targeted marketing campaigns.
" To acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of the company`s products, services and procedures.
" To provide occasional back up in the office to cover holidays and sickness.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Important
" Experience in field sales or internal sales in a B2B environment.
" Team player with ability to work alone.
" Self-motivated, hard working, reliable and well organised with an ability to manage time effectively.
" Well presented with smart appearance.
" Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships with both customers and colleagues. Good telephone manner and empathetic approach are pre-requisites.
" Good command of English both written and spoken.
" Computer literate (Microsoft Outlook and Office) with experience of using CRM systems.
" Own transport to office. (Public transport non-existent).
Desirable (but not essential)
" Knowledge / experience of hospitality and / or cosmetics industry.
" Experience of selling products or services to the hospitality industry.
" Experience as a team leader or supervisor.
