Job Description

Job Description: Insolvency Administrator

The main purpose of this Insolvency Administrator position is to undertake corporate and recovery casework individually or as part of a team, liaise with agents and solicitors associated with each case; prepare statutory paperwork and other legal documents. Aid in the preparation of documents for banks and other financial institutions. Assisting with the disposal of assets, collection of debts and the distribution of funds, drafting correspondence to creditors and other interested parties on request. Negotiating with both creditor and debtors, undertaking investigations into assets as required and general support to Partner leading team or case as required. You will operate your own portfolio whilst having the opportunity to assist Senior Members of the team on more complex cases to enhance your training.

Key Performance Indicators:
" Work is to be completed to required standards and agreed timescales, two-way conversations are had throughout so timescales are realistic
" Documents prepared correctly and in line with Firm`s standard documentation; This is an easy formality to follow and will be shown as many times as required when you join so you can get to grips with their way of doing things
" Cases and files compliant with JIMU requirements

Key Skills Required:
" Good communication skills, both verbal and written
" Ability to work at all levels
" Adapt to different situations
" Enthusiastic, professional and diligent
" 1 to 2 years` experience of working in Insolvency

Context of role:
This role will be part of a wider team dealing with client work. You will support Partners and managers as well as undertaking your own casework and caseload.
