Job Description

We`re looking for Vehicle Inspections Supervisor with a good eye for detail and experience leading a team in our busy automobile auctioneers. As our Inspections team leader you be running a team of Vehicle Inspectors logging details on various vehicles getting everything ready for our sales days.
We are a national leader in automobile auctions and we`re currently hiring for our South London branch.
This is a supervisory position and you will be the first point of call for your team should they need any help with problems or queries.

It will be your role to lead the team checking vehicles prior to them going to auction. This includes collating information on key selling points to help increase interest and to also highlight any defects to make our important customers fully aware of the vehicles condition they are purchasing.
Basic driving skills are required to help establish the working order of the vehicle and this can be a customer facing position letting customers know about various inspections.
It`s up to you to liaise with your team to ensure all the relevant paper work is complete and Key are placed in the relevant packs.

The role works over Monday-Friday on two different shift patterns, 7am-4pm and 10am-7pm so flexibility is required.

This is very much an outdoor role in all weather conditions so you get to enjoy the lovely British weather all year round.


The ideal candidate will be confident in their abilities to lead a team. We have a big team so being able to work well with others and manage effectively is crucial. This role can be customer facing so somebody who is polite and posses customer service skills would be great. Prior experience in a supervisor / management capacity is necessary and a basic understanding of car mechanics would be an advantage.
