Insurance Account Handler

Telford

Salary £20,000pa

My client is looking for an experienced Insurance executive to join them on a permanent basis as an Account Handler. This is an exciting opportunity to join an independent brokerage that that was founder over 25 years ago and have a number of branches throughout the UK. You will be joining a small but friendly team based in Telford and will need to have previous knowledge and experience of both private and commercial insurance.

You:

Previous experience within commercial insurance
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Committed to delivering a quality service
Excellent attention to detail
Demonstrate that you can take ownership and make decisions within agreed authority levels

The role:

You will be handling new business enquires
Completing a thorough fact find
Obtaining quotations from a variety of insurers, ensuring that they meet the needs of the client
Liaise with underwriters verbally to obtain quotes
You will be offering a variety of insurance products to cover both private & commercial risk.
