Job Title: Insurance Advisor
Location: City Centre, Preston, Lancashire
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am -5:30pm with 45 minutes lunch, Saturday 8:30am-12-30pm (one on one off)
Salary: £18k-£25k pa dependant on experience
Brook Street is delighted to recruit on behalf of our well-established client based in Preston city centre, we are looking for bright and intelligent individuals, with strong solid customer service background or a consultation sales background. The position will be offering insurance policies to their various clients. Interviews and training prior to starting will be conducted at their Altrincham office, a driving licence would be preferred, though you must be able to travel to this location.
" To sell and administer insurance products appropriate for our client's needs with due care and consideration
" To assist your Branch Manager in meeting and wherever possible, exceeding Branch objectives
" To exceed client expectations in terms of efficiency, effectiveness and responsiveness through the diligent and professional conduct of your duties.

" To assist in the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the office

" To act as a brand ambassador at all times through first class personal presentation and conduct
" To be professional in your relationships with insurers, ensuring we provide a friendly, quality and effective service to them
" To always comply with branch procedures
" The ability to communicate clearly, positively and effectively both orally and in writing
" Manages own time & prioritise effectively, handles high pressure situations well.
" Consistently delivers top quality service - passion for getting it right - same high quality at the end of each day as at the beginning.
" The ability to work effectively and in an organised manner both independently or co-operatively as part of a team
" The ability to listen to clients and identify their needs
" Effectively closes the sale: establishing and meeting objections
" Cross sells and offers policy enhancements
" A very positive 'Can-Do' approach
" Previous experience working in insurance and knowledge in legal and FSA will be advantage in this role.
