Job Description

We have an exciting new opportunity to join the Exposure Management team of this highly successful Lloyd's Managing Agency wholly owned by one of the largest reinsurers in the world.

The role is a Reporting and Governance Senior Analyst and has become available due to a team member's promotion.

Historically this team has been made up with Insurance specialists from a Company or Lloyd's market background - however they are very open to those from EXPOSURE MANAGEMENT or BUSINESS ANALYSTS who come from an FCA background.

If it is not Insurance then they would be open to experience within financial services -analytics and reporting within that regulatory framework.

Your CV should demonstrate strong experience in a similar role-at least 4 years ideally.

It is important to stress that we need someone who understands data and can identify 'red flags' as they come up. Someone inquisitive and questioning, who can recommend improvements not just copy and paste data sets!! Someone 'sharp' who perhaps is ready to step up to the next level.

You will be working with 2 Catastrophe Modelling teams and working with other teams across the business -everyone works together and it is a positive collaborative working environment where team support is available. There are opportunities to be involved in projects and streamlining-using testing tools and coding. These skills would be highly advantageous.

Duties include

  • The provision of data for reports
  • Data analysis and insights
  • Development of business intelligence reports and/or dashboards.
  • Analysis of exposure aggregations (both modelled and non-modelled)
  • Develop and improve on existing data visualisation tools
  • Working closely with outsourcing providers
  • Construction and analysis of pre and post event response analytical reports, exhibits and interactive dashboards.
  • Analysing and reporting on non-modelled perils and portfolios of business.
  • Construction of data sets, analysis and reporting of regulatory requests.

Working arrangements are flexible. The company expect you to work in the office 50% of the time. This could be 1 week in and then 1 week at home or 3 days in and 2 days at home.

Salary upto £65000 plus benefits
