Due to growth of the business and expansion our client is looking for an Insurance Consultant at one of their Hertfordshire offices, working for one of the UK`s largest independent insurance groups, having been established for many years with branches throughout England.
Our client has ambitious growth plans, so prospects for career progression are very good and the contribution individuals make will be fully acknowledged and rewarded.

You need to have a good standard of general education with a background in either insurance or sales, banking or finance. This is not essential, however, as full training will be given including the opportunity to study for nationally recognised professional qualifications (Certificate in Insurance, CII, obtained ideally within 12 months). You will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, an enthusiastic sales ability and work in a fast-paced environment. You also must have a clean driving license for this position.

The ideal candidate will be focused and committed, friendly, personable and reliable, and willing to go the extra mile. You will be speaking to clients on the phone - existing and new, and you need to be confident picking up the phone, chasing business and driving the business forward, as well as speaking to some clients face to face.

The working hours are 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday and will be required to work Saturdays on a rotational basis from 08:30 - 12:30, three times per week.

Salary range 18 - 25k depending on experience
