Job Description

Long established insurance brokerage in the Southampton area is looking for their next Insurance Consultant to join their growing team/family. This company has several offices round the South. They are looking for a first-class professional who has experience in sales and administration of personal lines and commercial insurance. " Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5pm and One in Three Saturday`s 9-12pm
" Salary: £18,000 - £25,000 dependant on level of experience

Principal Duties:
" Assist your Branch Manager in meeting, and wherever possible, exceeding Branch objectives
" Exceed client expectations in terms of efficiency, effectiveness and responsiveness through the diligent and professional conduct of your duties.
" Ensure that the requirements of our clients are at least always met, and to look for opportunities to exceed expectation
" Embrace and follow all internal procedures on the conduct of our business including complaints and problems
" Assist in the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the office
" Share ideas and information with your Branch Manager
" Act as an ambassador for our company at all times through first class personal presentation and conduct
" Be professional in your relationships with insurers, ensuring we provide a friendly, quality and effective service to them

Skills Required:
" The ability to communicate clearly, positively and effectively both orally and in writing
" Display a positive and enthusiastic work ethic and style
" Build and develop long-term client relationships
" Work effectively and in an organised manner both independently or co-operatively as part of a team
" The ability to listen to clients and identify their needs
" Reporting to your Branch Manager, you are responsible to the Company, your colleagues, insurers and our clients
