My client is looking for someone with solid experience in personal business lines who has worked in an independent brokerage.
This role will be working alongside one other handling motor and will be dealing with:
Provide quotations, relevant advice, information and guidance to new client`s needs.
Take instructions to place on cover, all relevant paperwork is completed, premium collected, relevant records and diary entries are created.
Take instructions in respect of Mid Term Adjustments to existing policies, ensuring insurers are notified, records updated and relevant payment taken/actioned with credit facility provider.
Offer renewal terms to existing clients` policies; ensuring premium is competitive, either with existing insurer or transfer to new insurer with accompanying paperwork completed, premium collected and relevant records and diary entries created.
Control your own diary system, ensuring all items are followed up by the due date, particularly in relation to outstanding documentation from clients or insurers, premium payments and cover notes needed.
Assist clients with enquiries either by direct involvement with the insurer concerned or providing contact names and telephone numbers for client`s own direct contact.
Provide back up to the relevant colleagues in performing the daily and operational duties of the Company`s computer system/tasks.
Any general duties that may be required in accordance with the nature of your job role e.g. meeting monthly deadlines to achieve objectives set for renewal retention and new business targets.
Maintaining training requirements in accordance with Company`s Policy.
Office hours are 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. - Monday to Friday.
The role is office based.
Salary is negotiable.
The cient has another role in Household, for which the specification is very similar to the above but the candidate will need experience of working in a brokerage (not insurance side) with solid experience of dealing with mid to high net worth clients.
