Job Description

Do you have at least 1 years administration/backup experience supporting a team in the Lloyds Insurance market whether it be in Broking , Underwriting or Claims? Are you are now looking for the next step in your career? Then this great role could be perfect for you !

Our client is based in a lovely location near Fenchurch Street and Tower Hill and they are looking for a Technician to join their International team - initially working from home and then back in London as things open up again

Your main responsibilities will be
Producing documentation including cover notes and debit notes
Setting up files ensuring all relevant documentation included
Preparing policies, slips, letters and correspondence
Logging incoming post
Maintaining filing and archiving systems
Entering data onto Global system
Escalating queries to Technical Manager to ensure timely resolution
Posting signed documentation to Client
Acting as point of contact with clients when requested or as necessary
Liaising with underwriters and chasing for outstanding quotes where necessary
Communicating with clients in a clear and confident manner to request information and chase for outstanding funds where necessary
Dealing with queries from Brokers and clients and escalating issues where appropriate to ensure timely and efficient problem resolution
Following instructions from Technical Manager accurately and efficiently
Developing an understanding and awareness of Group processes and procedures and working within the parameters of the role
Developing an awareness of the FCA Guidelines and rules
Undertaking general office administrative duties as and when required
Dealing with signings and queries from Xchanging and accounts department

Their ideal candidate will have a minimum 1 years relevant experience within the Lloyds Insurance market, who has good communication skills, is a self -starter but enjoys working as part of a team

You will need good home broadband capabilities so you can work effectively for the next few months and then be happy to return to London when things open up!!
