Job Description

Are you an Audit and Compliance Officer looking for a new and exciting opportunity? My client based in St Albans is recruiting right now!


You will play a leading role within the quality and compliance team in a fast-paced environment. Responsible for maintaining, developing, and continually improving the Quality, and Environmental Management Systems in line with overall company objectives. This includes the maintenance of the ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 accreditations and working towards 27001:2013. Internal auditing and facilitation of external audits.

Maintaining and improving GDPR procedures across the company to ensure Compliance with GDPR requirements. Investigation and recording of security incidents & threats including root cause analysis.

Planning, implementing, and overseeing risk-related programs. Creating and coordinating proper reporting channels for compliance issues. Promotion of risk awareness and management of company risk registers, compliance reviews and PESTLE analysis.

  • Salary: 28-37k depending on experience
  • Hours: 09:00 - 17:30, Monday to Friday

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • ISO 9001 & 14001 Internal auditor
  • GPDR Data Protection
  • ISO 27001 Internal auditor
  • 3+ years of experience required
  • Ability to work both in a team environment and independently on projects
  • Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to use sound judgement including maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
  • Knowledge of Legal, Regulatory and Statutory requirements
