Job Description

Our client based in the Berkhamsted area is looking for an Internal Sales Advisor to join their Sales Team which is ever expanding. They are a family-owned, family-operated company and they serve many different industries including food, pharmaceutical, plastics, general recycling, automotive recycling, mining and printing with multiple locations across the globe.

As part of the Internal Sales Team the role will be responsible for incoming sales enquiries both via email and telephone. Supporting the outside sales team and ensuring that quotes are produced in a timely and efficient manner and leads are followed up. You will also be happy to spend time on the telephone prospecting and maintaining relationships with existing customers.

They are looking for an enthusiastic team player to grow with the business and will provide full product training where necessary. You will need to be a good communicator that is keen to adapt and learn as the job dictates.

The ideal candidate will be able to develop new business opportunities and manage existing accounts, be focused, a good communicator and confident. You will also be confident on the phone and have the ability to chase business.

With your confidence, organisation, excellent telephone manner and willingness to learn new skills, this could be the role for you where you would be working on a permanent full time basis working Mon-Fri 08:00-17:00.
