Job Description

INTERNAL SALES SUPPORT / ACCOUNT MANAGER

SHREWSBURY £20,000 - £24,000 dependent on experience

Our client based in Shrewsbury is looking for an Internal Sales Support / Account manager to join their successful team. A proven track record of dealing with customers on a daily basis is essential and the right person must be able to work as part of a team.

You will need to possess a "can do" attitude and have a high level of self-motivation with an inner desire to improve your personal performance. You must be reliable, enthusiastic and have a strong ability to utilise your own initiative. You will be required to work to various targets throughout the business and work within time specific deadlines.

The successful person will have an analytical mind, someone who can work to deadlines and who genuinely enjoys building long lasting business relationships.

Essential requirements

" Excellent Communicator - written & verbal
" Commercial Awareness - Margins / profit
" Proficient with M/S Office
" 4 x GCSE grade A-C or equivalent


Desirable requirements

" SAP salesforce
" Experience in a similar role

IT - Proficient with MS Office functionality - Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
Knowledge of SAP-B1, Sales-I and Salesforce is an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

" Support the external sales representatives by developing and maintaining relationships with personnel at all levels within customer organisation's

" Represent the company to the customer in a professional and efficient manner through effective account management techniques, telephone and email contact

" Ensure the timely delivery of sales proposals/quotes and solutions to meet customer needs and objectives

" Assist in managing the correspondence between the sales team and their clients

" Analyse and interpret customer usage reports - providing data and reports to help the sales team

" Monitor and report on customer sales targets

" Support with the scheduling of customer visits on behalf of external sales team

" Maintain the company's CRM and related records
