International Sales and Marketing Assistant

£25,000 per annum

Brook Street are delighted to present an exciting opportunity to work with a rapidly growing and ethical research and development company who specialise in the marketing of sustainable and eco-friendly natural ingredients for the cosmetics industry. Our client, based in a state of the art business park, is looking for an innovative and passionate Sales professional who speaks fluent Spanish, English, and ideally also French.

Who's right for the job?

Educated to degree level and speaking fluent French and Spanish, you will need to demonstrate good communication skills with the ability to sell, working within a team to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You should be adaptable, quick to learn and comfortable with tasks ranging from directly supporting distributors through webinars or visits to administrating the sales data in order to monitor distributor progress.

You will be enthusiastic and motivated to drive positive change forward, whilst emulating our client's core values and brand. Additional required attributes include:

  • A degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing or Chemistry
  • Fluent Spanish and preferably French speaker
  • Some international sales experience is preferable but not essential
  • A good eye for detail as well as being thorough and accurate
  • A keen interest in the beauty and personal care industry
  • MS Office skills and experience of using a CRM system
  • Strong personality and able to communicate effectively
  • Well organised with the ability to produce timely reports and sales analysis
  • Be comfortable with an office-based environment with a small number of overseas visits

About the job:

Our client is looking for an International Sales and Marketing Assistant to support their Head of Sales in expanding sales to their global distributor network and their customers, and to be accountable for delivering sales targets for a group of distributors.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • To achieve annual sales targets
  • To support Spanish, French and some English-speaking distributors
  • To understand the knowledge necessary to service technical questions surrounding our client's cosmetic ingredients
  • To attend International Exhibitions either on our client's stand or with a distributor.
  • To administrate sales data monitoring product and distributor progress and provide monthly management information
  • To interpret market intelligence to improve our client's sales and product positioning
  • To interact with the marketing department in planning sales campaigns
  • To liaise with logistics in ensuring customers' orders reach them in a timely fashion
